WEIGHT WELLNESS
with SEMAGLUTIDE
Join our medically-managed
weight loss program
Semaglutide is the active ingredient in the widely talked about medication Ozempic®. Studies show that patients on Semaglutide therapy typically lose 9.6-17.4% of initial body weight by week 68, and improve cardiometabolic and psychosocial health. There is no other weight loss drug on the market that compares.
Semaglutide isn't just a medication; it's a lifestyle change. If you have more than 15+ more pounds to lose and want supportive, customized care from medical professionals to help quiet the food noise, reduce your appetite, and boost your self-confidence and overall health, then our program could be a good fit for you.
Semaglutide acts like GLP-1, a gut hormone, to decrease your blood sugar (by increasing insulin production and decreasing glucagon synthesis), delay food passing from stomach to intestines, and decreases hunger by signaling to your brain that you’re full.
How it works
Patients experience better cardiovascular health, joint protection, mood, immune system, as well as sleep and energy levels. There is also a decreased rate of obesity related cancers (breast, colorectal, endometrial, kidney, and liver.)

Refined grains
Refined grains are stripped of their nutrient and fiber-rich parts. These types of grains are more likely to raise and drop your blood sugar levels quickly. Spiking and dropping blood sugars will lead to increased cravings and feelings of hunger. White bagels, flour tortillas, white bread, and white rice are just a few examples of refined grains to avoid.
Foods with added sugars
Sugar is added to foods that might otherwise seem healthy, like yogurt, dried fruit, nutrition bars, cereal and granola. Eat less carbs and focus on eating protein-rich whole foods and vegetables.
Fried foods
GLP-1 medications may cause nausea and upset stomach, especially as your body is getting used to them. Try avoiding fried foods, especially those prepared with peanut oil. If you have an air fryer, that will be your best friend!
Sugary drinks
Sugary beverages like sodas and juices are unnecessary added sugars. Limit sweetened teas, sugary coffee drinks, and energy drinks which are very high in added sugar. If you enjoy fruit smoothies, make sure to read the label for sugar content.
Alcohol
Alcohol isn’t forbidden, but be cautious! It can lower your blood sugar by reducing the amount of sugar released by your liver. Most people lose the craving to drink when on Semaglutide. Remember you are emptying your stomach more slowly, therefore processing alcohol slower.
If you choose to drink alcohol, then try to eat a meal while you drink, drink SLOWLY, and try to avoid having more than one drink a day for women and more than two drinks a day for men.
